Upgrade to S20? Or My S10 is till the king?

I love my S10 (not the plus). It isn't too tall. It is light. I can plug in my 5 year old noise cancelling Bose headphones with a cable. I get great battery life. The only thing I don't like is the camera software processing. It takes horrible pictures of my dog. The google camera on it takes pictures almost as good as my Pixel 3a.

That being said...if the deal is right, I would jump on it. I traded in my S9+ for $550, got free Galaxy Buds, and a free $50 Leather Case from samsung (that I absolutely love!!!). So $730 worth of value for my trade-in to buy a $900 phone. Spent $370 with tax and that included the ear buds (which I was likely to buy), and a case (which I'm so glad I got...even though I would normally never spend $50 on a case).

If I can spend $400 or less each year and get the latest and greatest after trade-in and get some goodies...seems way better than waiting over a year after a phone comes out and buying an older phone for probably more and not getting freebies.

To be honest I wouldn't upgrade for just a camera. Seems like a waste of money to me... there has to be more to it than just that.
Alright, we all know that Samsung is going to make a debut for their flagship 2020 and thanks to Max Winebach, We know it is S20/S20PLUS/S20ULTRA

Will you upgrade?
For the camera?

Maybe true but not everyone feels that way....and there is more to it especially if we are talking about the Ultra model.

In definitely keeping my S10 after all. The process are crazy and I use the headphone jack everyday in my car. The S10 has served me extremely well

As of now I've not pulled the trigger to upgrade even though I can trade in my S10 for $600.

For me the main issue is that the 5G is not something I need, the 120HZ display is going to take roughly 25% off of the battery (see TomsGuide review of the Ultra), and S10 is already pretty good. Also, as time as going by I'm starting to use phones that are last years models. I picked up the S10 recently off of eBay new for $500 even which is $400 off of buying it new. I'm a fan of technology though and I want to upgrade, but I'll have to wait a bit unfortunately.

Going to stick with my S10 which I purchased from Costco just before Thanksgiving for $429.
