Upgraded to Lollipop - Other category "full"

I upgraded to Lollipop a few weeks ago and noticed that my free storage space had dropped dramatically. Looking at the Settings > Storage screen, I hace 7.21GB / 8.00GB used. My "Other" category is 4.05GB.

Did the upgrade forget to delete installation files or something? Anyone know how I can clean up the "Other" category?

I am facing the same problem. I interacted with HTC customer care, and they said that there is no way to fix this as new software needs space.
