For those worried about the warranty, have you ever had to use one before on an electronic? I don't think I've ever once had a piece of electronic gear break on me within the 1 year warranty, ever.
I really don't think my watch will either.
Thanks for the tip - may be worth to get in addition to the LG. What brand is yours and could you post a link to the one you bought? There are a bunch of different brands utilizing the 8k 3G naming, some of them are not even round, so the difference between them is pretty vast. How long does the batery last with 3G and GPS tracking on?I have the urbane 2nd LTE coming. The k8 3G is a Chinese watch. But for the price the thing is awesome. Has a round 1.4 inch oled 400 by 400 pixel screen. Runs full android 4.4.2. Nano SIM card slot. I'm in Canada and the 3G works great with Fido. It has gps wifi Bluetooth... Pretty much everything a phone will have. The watch is all black. Watch is aluminum and band is black leather. They are 110 online right now. If you google k8 3G round smartwach you will see pictures and more specs on it. You can reply to text sms with a full keyboard or voice... You can have your wifi as a hotspot. It does everything and it's about the same size as the urbane 2 but a little thinner. I was able to put android wear on the watch so I can use my watch to put watch faces on my other watch haha.
I went on a long walk this morning with my watch running stand alone and Runkeeper without my Note 5. I turned off BT on my phone before I left. GPS locked less than 5 seconds with Wear GPS app. When I got back, my girlfriend told me my Note 5 kept talking while I was gone. I guess the Runkeeper app was running on my Note 5 and was connected to my watch via internet. Awesome stuff. Although, the Runkeeper app would crash once in a while. Do you guys recommend any other fitness apps that's more reliable. I read review about Ghostracer but I read comments about unreliability as well.
Only tried Runkeeper (no crashes ever) and Ghostracer so far myself, but I heard Endomondo also works in stand-alone mode. Maybe the phone talking to your watch caused the crash. I would try putting the phone in airplane mode, then use Runkeeper to test this out.

ditto - it is great watch - taking my chances also - looked all over internet for extra charging cradle, none to be found - have Gear S 2 - watch faces are mediocre at best - no GPS - returning Gear S 2 and keeping Urbane 2nd edition. L G has no mention of Urbane LTE website - tried to email comments
- had to list model number to send - LG is amazing - sorry folks we screwed up and we are not ansewering questions or giving insight into future plans - what a horrible PR blunder by this company. Would have bought new L G phone to go with Urbane - not now - untrust worthy comes to mind.
