tell you the truth.... i dunt know. I had it in when it first popped up. Then I ran to get my cc. then it said out of stock, then I looked at my history and clicked on the link for when i added it. it said in stock. i click submit, boom.

Well I got mine in...receipt says est delivery of 9/17. I had it in my cart and hit place order. I noticed it said out of stock but it was too late at that point.

Give it time. We might have slipped in before they shut it down prior to the official 3pm EDT opening. Keep hitting refresh and see if it becomes available at 3pm EDT.
Edited to add: What I'm saying is they may have opened MotoMaker to allow people to queue up and start building, but they didn't intend people to be able to purchase until 3pm EDT, so maybe they closed that part back off. #wishfulthinking

Yep, just got mine in too. Went with the 32GB - since even after clearing my photos out recently I am still using more than 16gbs on my current phone so I think I would have regretted only going with 16. Estimated delivery September 15, which works out perfectly for me since I am getting it delivered to the office and that is my first day back after vacation.
Didn't go crazy on the colors since I willl be slapping a case on it anyway, but I think it looks nice:
