Well I got mine in...receipt says est delivery of 9/17. I had it in my cart and hit place order. I noticed it said out of stock but it was too late at that point.

Yeah, after I hit place order I got an out of stock line too, but the order did go through and my order details still say Estimated delivery of September 15. Have not gotten an email yet though, but it's there when logging into order status.

It will charge immediately, not at shipping. As a side note (because people will complain about this) this charging at the time of order is allowed by credit card companies for products which are "customized".

Just pre ordered mine since the page is back up. Went with 32gb white with red trim with red leather backing. Should be here by the 17th!

Going to motomaker.com instead of refreshing the Moto X Pure Edition page seems to work. Got mine in as well. Easiest order of the 3 Moto Xs so far for me!
