US release date could be July 12th!

At least you all have delivery info. I ordered day 1 and still have nothing - no charge, no email from UPS or Google. At this point I don't know what to think.

I don't have any delivery info and I ordered 1:30p eastern on the 27th. They were kind enough to send me a tracking number that doesn't even exist in the UPS system. How freaking nice of them! I am disputing the change with my credit card company.

While it is TWO day shipping, UPS doesn't ship on either Saturday or Sunday, so I doubt they would update the system when they're not in service. I'm sure you'll get an update once they finally scan your item in their system on Monday.

EDIT: While there's been tons of fuss over Google taking forever, it is a huge launch. They've kept their statements within the 2-3 week time frame, so why is everyone whining? I want my Nexus just as much as you guys but I don't think we should go to these extents of cancelling our orders or complaining our tracking information isn't updated yet. Relax people, you'll get your tablet in due time. Go outside or read a book to get your mind off of it; you're probably over-hyping yourself anyways.

UPS absolutely updates tracking info over the weekends. Packages still move over weekends even though they aren't delivered. This is assuming that they actually have the package, which they clearly don't for a large chunk of customers that ordered day one.

Well put. They are still within the 2-3 week timeliness. It'll be there soon. Hopefully real soon I want my N7

UPS My Choice sent me an email this morning that my Nexus 7 will be delivered on Monday July 16

Registered for My Choice, even tried the App hoping for a miracle. As expected, the package is likely not in the hands of UPS yet. Google printed a label and slapped it on the box...

I've done the same thing at home when re-selling textbooks to Amazon - the tracking number's on the label. Doesn't mean I actually scheduled the package for pickup or dropped it off at a UPS store ;-)

Whoever said Google likely printed and distributed the tracking numbers to get everyone off their back is likely correct. Ordered during the keynote on the 27th, now anticipating delivery between Wednesday and Friday. Anything earlier will make me very ecstatic!

Once again, good luck everyone! And for those able to snag it early through Gamestop, Office Depot, and Sam's - congrats and I'm just a little jealous.

Probably. I sent them an email Friday night asking about my order and stating that I was dissatisfied. Within 30 minutes I received the "label created" email.

You are 100% incorrect. Just because UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday, does not mean shipments are not moving. All of their updating is done automatically....as trailers leave various yards, planes depart or arrive....shipping containers are loaded on planes.....their scanners pick up the movements and their information is updated.

Come on people.....just admit it....Google screwed the pooch on this one....I know it, you know it and Google knows it!!!

UPS My Choice sent me an email alert that my Google shipment will arrive tomorrow between 11:15 and 3:15.

I registered for MyUPS yesterday since I wasn't getting any updated info. Finally got an update that it'll be delivered tomorrow next day air. Its been moving around since the 13th. So don't be disheartened if tracking info doesn't update yet!

shhhh, don't say that too loud......there are 3 or 4 butthurt people trolling the forum that can't seem to get that into their head.

Did google sent you the tracking, or did you just registered without it?

UPS My Choice has always given me the exact delivery date that it will ship items to my house on all of my previous shipment, so hopefully they wouldn't disappoint this time. If they don't deliver Monday like they said on the email I wouldn't even care as long as I get the Nexus 7 by the end of the week. Congrats everybody that already have or is getting the Nexus 7.

This notice alerts you that the shipment listed below is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

Scheduled Delivery Date: Monday, 07/16/2012

If the scheduled delivery needs to be changed, select the Tracking Number below or log on to ups.com to request a delivery change from the tracking detail.

so i'm still waiting and i cannot get a google rep on the phone for the life of me...i still have not been charged, so in turn, i may just "loose" my credit card to have it turned off before i'm charged (my CC is only for online purchases, so i can go a week without it)

i know the gamestop up the street is selling them freely, so i may just go that route

Order the 8GB on 6/27 at about 630p with no case (that grey is ugly). Finally got a tracking number yesterday, of course UPS doesn't have the package. I emailed customer service yesterday about the fact that I could buy the N7 today for $14 cheaper, so I am waiting for a response. I am not particularly upset or anything, it just irked me to pay tax and shipping (who does that anymore?) that turned a $200 tablet into a $225 tablet.

I finally gave up and bought one at Sams. I will refuse delivery from my never shipped, never charged, never updated preorder placed on June 27th.
