I have said this before, and got chastised for it, but prove it. There is a LOT of conjecture in this forum with unsubstantiated information.
If you have proof that the charge has been deducted, and not just "pre approved" or put into pending status, you would most likely be the first one, and would be a news subject on the front page.
If people would just relax, and stop just throwing out the first thing that comes into their frontal cortex, we could all just enjoy the ride, and talk about how excited we are for this groundbreaking device.
And I apologize to you, RebelSF for singling you out, its just a little frustrating after 20 or so pages of the same false information over and over again.
By the way, I am psyched for my N7 just like everyone else, and hope they magically show up on our doorsteps tomorrow.

I'm putting the release date at most likely either Friday or Monday based on what the Staples live chat lady said (tablets in-stock online for non-preorders on the 15th). Hopefully we get it tomorrow, but if I had to bet on it, i'd say Friday or Monday are very good guesses based on that info.

Unfortunately you are one of only a select few, only 2 that I have seen who claim to have been charged already. Most of the rest of us, include those of us who ordered the very first seconds the page went live have NOT been charged yet. So I'm not so sure Google has our backs, BUT we shall see.
Right now I feel like I feel when the other teams Warwick and Teemo have been fed. So anxious.

x3. My order was placed at 1:47 on the 27th, and I haven't seen jack squat since then.
that's a developer's name so maybe it'll ship. Hopefully they will change it to all Google Play buyers getting the first wave and retail stores will get the second wave.
This is what's going to happen: Google ships preorders late this afternoon. Overnight shipping (just like the Galaxy Nexus). We'll get them Thursday!
That's not the answer I got from the Magic Eight Ball when I asked if the Nexus 7 would be shipped today...
I was outside with my daughter playing a while ago when a UPS man was delivering a package to a neighbor. I did what any self-respecting Nexus Pre-Order person would do, I stopped him to inquire about the Nexus 7...
He didn't even know what a Nexus 7 was
He was a rather sweet man and pulled up our address on his device and said he didn't see anything coming our way. Really, no surprise, I haven't been charged and the pre-auth fell off Saturday. He said he probably would have heard about this device. I guess UPS has meetings about delivering devices, like the iPads and iPhones when they were released.
The wait wouldn't be so bad if my other package would get here, but it is also in limbo like the Nexus 7. :-\

Ugh, every time I think of UPS I get a mental image of them playing hacky-sack with small packages, behind the doors at the distro center.
