By the sounds of it we should get it tonight or early morning. The agent I spoke with seems like he knew some additional news about it that he didn't want to broadcast in his office because maybe they are still suppose to be mum about the issue.

You see... my theory was that it's because Google didn't want another botched released for an Android device. But if they are already ready to ship and all packed up, what's the worst that could happen? That's like 99.99% certainty that the device will ship out without delay. So if they're really at that stage, why not just announce it?

I'm so excited, even though I'm in "Wave 2". But I'm hoping that doesn't really matter much, and I still get mine right away, since I stated in a previous post that I'm only the 2nd to pre-order from my Gamestop. If my Gamestop doesn't have mine in on the 12th, I'm going to go check Staples and see if they got it in stock. If they do, I'll just buy it from there, and move the $50 I put down on the tablet to something else. If not, I'll just have to wait it out.

The build up for this is just incredible. I agree with previous posters that I have never been as excited for this as I have been for other tech products. I love to keep checking this page, checking google news, gmail , and my google wallet. Not much work getting done over the past few days...

I would think that if retail stores have it in hand on the 12th then Google will start off with some customer service issues dealing with us that pre-ordered. Not a big deal, but I have always though that if you pre-order something then you get it first?

I kind of ordered it June 30th but it depends on what time zone they are considering. Google Play says June 30th but Google wallet says "Order Date: June 29, 2012 9:17:46 PM UTC-7 "

I was thinking of calling but decided to just wait and see if it arrives. I have yet to see any charges to my Credit Card.

I bought this as a gift for my wife who's bday was July 7th. I gave her three gifts (jelly beans, number 7, and transformer toys) that were clues and then gave her a hint saying "she would have to search for it". It took her a while to figure out what the gift was. She's excited but I think I am even more excited to get it. Hopefully she will let me use it.

I talked to a Google representitive, named Alex and she said, "Even if you preordered July 9 or earlier, it will be here in 1-3 weeks but it's still not definite." I hope it gets here before August third 'cause that's when I go on Vacation and I want something for the plane ride.

So, I was under the impression anyone that ordered before the 10th is in the first wave. Is that incorrect? I'm not sure where I got that. I ordered on the 8th and don't want to wait until aug. I already sold my fire and am stuck using my iPad until my n7 comes in.
