This is what's going to happen: Google ships preorders late this afternoon. Overnight shipping (just like the Galaxy Nexus). We'll get them Thursday!

I totally agree. I doubt we will see any shipment emails today.

The only thing I can compare it to is when I ordered a GNex from the play store.

Ordered 6/5 and got an email confirmation from Google.
My AMX was charged on 6/5 (cant tell what time).... charge shows GOOGLE *DEVICES GOOGLE.COM/CH CA as the seller.

I got the shipment confirmation email on 6/6 at 1am, and the device showed up at my door step on 6/6 about 4pm.

Dont know if any of this means anything, but it does show that NOT receiving an email today does not mean the device wont be delivered tomorrow.

Good info. Ive said it once and I will say it again. Google will not allow retailers to sell this earlier than the actual delivery date of pre-orders. Its not going to happen unless someone makes a mistake and sells a retail version early. If this info is to be believed, and devices are in stores tomorrow, we will have our devices tomorrow as well.

Holy views on this topic. If I recall yesterday around this time there were around 25,000 views, and 1 day later its up to 44,000+ views!! Granted I have prolly refreshed this page 300 times since yesterday (I work for a technology company and sit in front of 2 monitors for 12 hours a day) but still.
This will be my first Nexus device and first tablet, but not my first Android device

We are aware that they are (possibly) in stores already today. The question is, when is Google allowing the stores to start giving them out? It's like a video game. The store gets it before the release date, and has to wait before they can hand it out to customers. Just because the store has it today (or tomorrow) doesn't mean they can sell it, or even hand it over to people who pre-ordered.
