I love a good rumor, but people hanging on these rumors is silly! You just can't believe a rumor till you're holding a N7 in your hands! Have cautious optimism people! They'll get here! But keep the rumors coming

The rumors definitely repeat themselves a whole lot more over there. So for the most part, we have the same amount of info with this thread too. There are a couple of us who are posting some info from their thread here that we haven't seen yet. For the most part, I'm enjoying the people here more haha.

I would normally not believe rumors either, but a lot of rumors online tend to be true. All the rumors about the n7 hardware came to be true didn't they? As well as the rumors when google will be announcing it and what it would look like.

I'm not saying this is 100% true obviously, but a lot of the times its the companies itself that spread rumors.

Oh no.... just lots of people stating that they "heard this" and "google reps said this" etc.

From what I have been able to read (between all the garbage), there seems to be a mild consensus that some people have heard from Google CS that tracking numbers are being assigned this evening and we should get an email tonight... we will just have to wait and see if thats true... Still wishful thinking until we get those emails!

The rep I spoke to ( waited 20 min ) also said tracking labels were being assigned at UPS and we would get them in 2-4 days

I don't think it's new, I just never noticed it but has it always said SHIPS SOON on the google play store?
If it is new i still don't think much of it but am curious as to the change.

I ordered my N7 on July 7 and it has not changed on the Google Play pre-order site. SHIPS SOON 1-2 WEEKS.

Unless of course you have people reading stuff in these types of threads and regurgitating the info in another thread or repeating the same rumor. As with any misinformation, if you say it enough, eventually you will think its the truth.

Im still in the camp that we will have our pre orders shipped tonight, awake to our tracking numbers and have our devices tomorrow.

I wish Google would give us a date some we could know when it comes to our door if we ordered the N7 from Google play, but no they just let us sit here and try to find out instead.

They will send you an email with the exact date of the delivery when it ships. SIGH.

I've been reading that pre-order thread on XDA for the last couple days. It kinda makes me want to throw myself into oncoming traffic if I don't get it by the end of this week. Perhaps I need to take a break from XDA until it actually arrives.

I think I will be checking my email and Google Play order tonight around 11pm...and then probably again at 1am since I won't be able to sleep...
