Finally got mine as well. When i saw the size of the box it came i thought to my self o no this seems to small. When i finally got it open and fired her up i couldn't be more pleased, everything is lightning fast. Chrome is stupid fast on this thing also which is great. So far so good!

Yes it's fantastic so far. The virtual home key takes some getting used to. Probably gonna start reading on it this fall once school starts up because I'm already occupied with AP summer reading. Can't wait to read on this thing! Also, video quality is good, but the only real complaint I have (which I already knew) was that the home screen did not rotate. I like holding my tablets in landscape but it's no big deal. Pros outweigh the con.

i know this isnt a fair comparison but my dad has an ipad 1 he uses for couch browsing/home theater set up and the nexus 7 blows it out of the water. I never thought this thing would be smoother and more of a pleasure to use even compared to old ipad. ps. im not an apple fan boy lol.

I guess the upgrade to overnight shipping is their compensation for this whole mess. Not enough in my opinion, but I'll take it!

They haven't even done that for the Australian devices. 3-5 days delivery - even when we paid $19.99 for 2 day shipping. Idgjits.

Yup, they screwed the pooch big time. I just hope they own up to it. They can't blame UPS (or any other shipping service), because they are equipped to handle high volume if they are given fair warning ahead of time. And they can't blame high order volume, because they could have flipped the off switch to pre-order system at any time to keep from taking on too many orders.

Same! It shipped from Kentucky at 12 am I believe and it got to Houston at 3:50. Now it shows out for delivery! That was fast
