usb on pc doesnt work note 2

hey everyone i got the note 2 a couple of days ago and when i try to connect my usb to my pc it doesn't recognize it all . i tried downloading Samsung drivers nothing just shows Samsung adb interface in the device manager. has anyone been able to fix this issue before?

You might want to try another USB port. I know I had that issue with my GS3, but not this phone.
