Using Hangouts for SMS/Texts/MMS is really going to take some getting used to

Hangouts needs quick reply and I wouldn't bother touching any 3rd party sms apps.

Still don't understand why they didn't add that.

This would be amazing! If they had a quick reply pop-up used for only SMS/MMS that lights the screen up when an SMS is received.

Hmmm, I didn't receive an SMS message, should be through Hangouts, not ?
Strange thing is that I have my Jolla/Sailfish phone with dual SIM but only one can work (so the Jolla is just on WiFi).
I was send an SMS (important one), but it came only to the Jolla and not to my N5 that is the only phone with tel connection (4G).

Do I need to install an SMS app ?
Whatsuppp ?

i keep mine in a folded thin plastic bag with another sim, in my wallet -

that's quite the man-purse. do you really need to carry around all of those cards? ever consider going minimalist?

I agree. 8SMS is the best I've found. It's simple and just works. Designed for Kit Kat. What I like about it is the instant reply. It just works seamlessly. Good app. I found to be the best for me "hands down"!!

i find hangouts pretty simple. no adjustments for me whatsoever, really.

I agree. First time I used it, I had no problems. I don't see what people's problem with it is.

that sucker holds loose change (from Coach), i've never seen a man's wallet tthat hold loose change, that in itself frees my pockets from the jingling..

& usually most of my jeans & slacks have deep back pockets, & only the tip of the wallet pertrudes..
