It might. I think it was built for Android 4.4 with Sense 5 since it works for hboot 1.56 as well. Yeah, try another ROM. Make sure to back up in recovery before wiping or flashing.

Ok mate I'll give it a try. I'm now guessing that there's no guarantee that'll it work for me. Have you heard of it not working for some devices even ones that have a supported h-boot version?

Are you on VZW ? Plus i seen you posted earlier you had moonshine bootloader how did you do that without s-off?

And have you tried WeakSauce method

I'm on Three network in the UK. I'm not sure what moonshine boot loader is. I thought the weaksauce method was for unrooted devices and this method would temp root to s-off. I'm already rooted with custom recovery.

Not had a chance to get on my laptop until now mate. I found a video on YouTube and he used ARHD 53 and has h-boot 1.55 so I'm downloading that and I'll try again. I wonder if it's failing due to my firmware version not matching my Rom version?

Not had a chance to get on my laptop until now mate. I found a video on YouTube and he used ARHD 53 and has h-boot 1.55 so I'm downloading that and I'll try again. I wonder if it's failing due to my firmware version not matching my Rom version?

No, I doubt it. It might just be that the ROM is too new. I know with the One XL, S-OFF only works with certain ROMs.

Think I'm just clutching at straws. The download is nearly finished for the Rom the guy used in the YouTube so I'll give it another shot. On the plus side , I'm getting some good experience using adb/fastboot/terminal which is good.

Latest update is..........Still no s-off. Ran rumrunner again just check and failed at 8 pours as usual. Re ran firewater and still nothing.

Changed Rom to a lower version ARHD and still nothing. I then had a problem with my usb cable, a warning message saying it was slow charging but it's the official cable that came with my device. I also noticed that usb debugging was no longer showing up but was defiantly switched on in developer settings.

What's more strange is I could still issue commands via terminal and re ran firewater to make sure?!?!

I'm really confused now.

Hey Wizzrah....What Software do I need when We can Walk thru it together...
Are you going to have me use MoonShine ...Or what..?
