Hello..can I S-off my HTC One X ATT running ong 4.2.2 I have bootloader unlocked, rooted, s-on...Can i still use your method even if i'm already at 4.2.2?..tnx

4.2.2? Are you running a custom rom?

I flashed this ROM, [STOCK ROM] Android 4.2.2 / Sense 5 - 5.08.111.2 - xda-developers
And This Kernel, [Kernel][JB] Beastmode Reloaded 3.5 | 09/01/13 | 4.2.2 COMPAT! - xda-developers it doesn't require s-off so i flashed it... Now I can boot only until HTC logo..and then it bootloops..but i can go to recovery, and bootloader... can i use to S-off method? maybe S-offing my Phone will solve the problem.thanks

I personally believe s-off is required to flash any rom even if it says s-off is not required. Did you make a backup? If you made a backup then you could just restore it. s-off works only if you can access the os which you cant. What hboot version do you have? 2.14?

I did not made back up my hboot versrion is 1.14.0002 what should i do now?. will flash 4.1 based rom?

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP... anyways, flash the latest RUU which you can get here

Just put your phone in fastboot, plug in to your computer, and then run the ruu

The ruu should turn everything to stock and flash the stock rom so yes you would have to start all over. But it is fairly straight forward so just head on over to my website and follow my guide! Let me know if you run into trouble!

I got an error Installing RUU.exe

now i cannot go to recovery..but still can go to bootloader..what do i do now?.. =(

You have to flash the RUU again, keep trying. Make sure your phone is in fastboot mode.

OK i think my phone just got bricked.. =( .....After installing RUU update...I clicked Finished..Now my phone wont turn un..Even LED, and also volume down and power button... =(

Well I haven't seen this before. The only possibility of a flaw is the fact that you had a on but I helped another person before who had same problem as you and had s-on. So you have no access at all to the phone, no light, no charge, black screen correct?

Unfortunately, qshusb_dload means a brick. I will help you. I will have to think about this though.

I read that post too. I disagree because my friend was supercid, with s-on and we flashed the RUU. He was fine.
