Re: EZToolkit Cloud Evita One XL (AT&T)

Whenever I run this, when I get to this part: C:\EZToolkit Cloud Evita\Bootloader\MotoChopper>adb shell "/data/local/tm p/xpwn"

[+] This may take a few minutes.

[+] Success!

I get a "failure" message every time. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I have the hboot 2.14.0000 and 3.18 firmware, adb and htc drivers installed.

Run motochopper a few times. If not, reboot your computer and try again.

You don't need the toolkit. Just drag the ROM into your phone, boot into recovery, and flash it.

I had trouble with Cleanrom. I stuck with it for a while but got sick and tired of the bootloops.

If you flashed Cleanrom 7, you should flash a kernel for the most stable experience.

Your two choices are Beastmode kernel and Elementalx.

How do you flash a Kernel..the Toolkit or the same way you flash a ROM..?

Same way you flash a rom. Drag the kernel to your phone's storage and flash in recovery. Also, if you decide to flash a different rom, make sure you wipe in recovery before flashing. Just a factory reset is fine.

Re: EZToolkit Cloud Evita One XL (AT&T)

Just as an fyi if it still applies wizzrah can confirm
Kit kat roms need newer versions of twrp or clockworkmod.
Sense 5 roms will have signal drops and random reboots unless flashing beastmode or elemental x kernels with them.
Kernel flashing is the same as rom flashing.
What I did to be safe is flash rom then after I would let the rom boot completely then let sit for a couple minutes without touching anything. Then reboot to recovery wipe cache and dalvik cache and flash kernel.
What helped the most as over thinking. I would power off device instead of rebooting. While off waited a couple minutes then powered on.
This worked with beastmode, elemental x on stock sense based roms
Also on torched kernel for kit kat roms.
I had a lot of success with these combos
Magio (sense 5 based rom) + beastmode kernel
Omni rom (aosp kit kat cm11 hybrid) + torched kernel.
Just sharing if helpful please give thanks

What do you mean by sync with computer? Is the device being recognized when connecting to pc?
Or are you talking about the htc sync adapter that showed when you previously connected to pc.
If so it might be disabled by developer for that rom. Idk if thats the case because I never tried clean rom

I'll have a paypal link up eventually (None for now). When moving from ROM to ROM, you need to wipe in recovery. Just a factory reset. It will wipe the ROM and other mods, but not your SD Card/Internal Storage. Everything there should be safe. You flash kernels after you flash the rom.
