V10 how to create home screen folders?

So I've had my V10 for a few days (coming from years of Samsung Note) and can't figure out how to create folders to place similar apps so I only need 2 pages on desktop.
For instance I place all of my google apps in one folder, retail (amazon, ebay etc.) in one folder, photography (500px, flickr, etc.).
It was simple to do with Samsung.

You can drop one on another and it creates a folder. Then you can go into the folder and add more apps.

Move an app directly onto another app, and it creates a folder.

Open the folder, and you can rename it.

now just keep dropping other apps onto that folder.

Voila.

I knew there had to be a way on such a great phone, wasted lots of time on that one.
