V20 not getting signal and registering with cell towers

I've had this weird issue a few days ago when the phone would not register with any tower, just remained totally off-line. Voice and data. There was an "X" where 4G is.
I rebooted it, re-seated the SIM card, cleaned the contacts and just about decided this thing was finished and it was time for a new V20, which is sad since this V20 I got new just a year ago.

Then the problem fixed itself and it went back online.
Weird. It was def my phone, no outage with Verizion. Nor was I in some remote location with no service.

The thing that began it, I installed a new fully charged battery and it would not register with network. I realize it was just a correlation, not a causation.

It's most likely the water damage that caused it.

Everything is working now.
I do not trust that specific phone. will relegate it to a backup or a wifi device.
The cool thing about V20, they are so cheap.

One can get at least 3, or more V20s for the price of one V60. So worst case scenario, just get a new V20.

I might get a V60, years down the road when it becomes affordable and V20 becomes unobtanium.
