I'm not so sure as most people I know aren't bothered about the battery being replaceable or not and replace the phone regularly enough that it isn't an issue for them. In general no one seems to be bothered about a lack of repairability on devices, even reviewers don't list aspects such as glued in batteries, near impossible to replace screens etc. as big negatives. Unfortunately I think those of us who think we should be able to replace the batteries and easily repair our phones and devices are a small percentage.
That said the fact some of the US states are pushing for 'right to repair' laws gives me some hope providing it's not watered down too much to the point it becomes pointless.
