I thought it was just a overstated internet BS until mine did it. So no, its not a Note battery issue but with the amount of them coming up broken indicates there is a problem. I have seen plenty of phones dropped, ran over and throne against walls. Never have I seen a camera lens break unless it dropped right on it. Could be design flaw, material flaw or something in the manufacture. Could be that its too large of an area under pressure. The least they could do it offer up the parts and not have customers combing the internet for a replacement. People are paying a lot for those phones and deserve better service. It was my first LG and last LG. I swapped it for a OnePlus 3T and have not regretted it.
