Vapor Chamber?

Mine won't be here until September 17-24. Pro (not XL) 128gb porcelain. In the mean time those who have arrived how are the temps? My 8 pro easily reaches 110f after a while nothing heavy, no games. Just internet or maybe the occasional YouTube or few other non heavy apps. Does the new vapor chamber really help or it's just a gimmick. And a case obviously helps trap in the heat. But I have dropped my previous phones every now and then. And am so glad I had a case on. Saved me hundreds. So careless is not an option. But lighter porcelain phone and a lighter color case should help also I hope. Or does anyone sell a metal case. They all seem plastic these days.
