I just saw one of the countless Droid Bionic commercials. I don't think Verizon can call the Prime "Droid." They're advertising the Bionic as the greatest Droid device ever. The phone to rule all machines. Obviously, the next phone is always the best ever, but Verizon is "all in" on the Bionic. I can't see how they can advertise the Prime in two months after making a huge push for the Bionic.

Disagree. Why can't they? Sprint has had 3 flagship phones come out in in less than 6 months. You advertise the new thing and don't worry about the old new thing.

Verizon will (if they decide to) be able to market the Prime as the "Droid Prime" because in 2 months, people will have already purchased Droid Bionics... After you pay your money and exceed your 30 day peroid, you are stuck with your current phone. Big Red could easily make a commercial with robots and hot girls firing lasers, show a "Droid Prime" and the only thing that will happen is people will buy it. Maybe a few hundred people, nation wide will get on the computer and post in a forum about how it is too soon to do such a thing... They are in a win win situation. I'm sure many people, 2 months later will let Verizon buy back their Bionics for $100 and then buy a Prime off contract for $599.
