Hmm.... somehow I screwed that post up using tapatalk. Anyhow, the screenshot was of another forum still using "Droid Prime" as the name for a forum. I thought it was funny. I am a member there also, and post in that forum. I know what they mean anyway, :-D

So true. Doesn't any site verify anything at all nowadays? I know it's fun to post rumors, and I know sites are looking for traffic, but some are starting to lose credibility in my eyes recently. I agree that (maybe with the exception of iphone releases) I have not seen as much mis-information, guesses purported as fact, or other downright fiction posted by supposedly reputable sites about any single phone as with this one ...
Yeah, in my mind, there are sites that actually have the true meat (new rumors, new details on specs, etc) and sites that just rehash information that's already been distributed (for linkbait). In Google Reader, I'm learning to ignore the sites like Product Reviews & PopHerald...plus it looks like an outsourcer from India or the Philippians are writing the "pieces." These sites aren't adding value to the internet, just cluttering it up with reworded trash.
It's amazing the amount of misinformation this phone.
Anyone seen this? So LG is making their own Nexus Prime?
"LG has put up a page in Korean with the full specs and we now know that it will sport a whopping 4.5 inch 1280x720 HD screen with IPS screen panel technology - the same seen in the iPhone 4's Retina Display. Under the hood, the LG handset will boast a 1.5Ghz dual-core processor, an impressive 1840mAh battery and an Galaxy S2-matching 1GB of RAM. Internal storage is set at 4GB, although that will be supported with a microSD slot, plus there's an 8MP camera with a 1.3 front facing snapper too."
What the frick is going on here?

well, since all the major OEM's likely submitted candidates/prototypes for the next Nexus, i would imagine nothing is preventing them from releasing those proposed devices - just not as a "Nexus". my guess (and it's strictly my personal speculation) is that the Droid HD was Moto's prototype for the Nexus 3 that didn't get selected, and that the Vigor is HTC's...
What are the chances that this actually comes to vz? As an actual nexus, not a droid prime. What i want is the timely updates and the latest os.
Honestly, nobody really knows. We only know that there are a few high powered devices set to be hitting Verizon

I just cant decide whether to take the bionic back or not. I just really want a nexus on vz

while nobody knows for certain, i think the chances are quite good. consider the following:all of this leads me to believe the Nexus is coming to VZW. as for your concern re: a bloated Droid Prime vs. a pure Nexus, there are 2 different model numbers floating around: SCH-i515 and GT-i9250. the latest "leaks" (and take them for what they're worth) indicate that one is the Droid Prime and one is the Nexus. it makes sense to me. i think we will see a pure Nexus device on VZW in early Nov.
- Samsung is making the Nexus
- Samsung makes the GS2
- AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mo are all getting GS2 variants
- VZW passed on the GS2, indicating "something better" was coming
- all of the leaks thus far have "confirmed" that the Nexus is coming to VZW
2 things.why would samsung release two high end phones so close together on vz and has a phone with the gt prefix come to vz in contrast to sch, such as the charge?
they may both be high end phones, but occupy very different niches. for example, touchwiz vs stock, or keyboard vs non-keyboard2 things.why would samsung release two high end phones so close together on vz?
