I think what hurts the most about this announcement is the closeness to the releases of the Bionic and the GS2. If this was a year out for prime I wouldn't even batt an eye and drop the $$$ for the bionic but dang timing is the mother of all biznatchs.

Very interesting. My phone is due for upgrade now. Wife's phone is due in December. I can get Bionic now, Nexus Prime in December and figure out which I like better. Wife will be happy with either.

Yeah, I could see that too. Definitley somewhere between mid November and mid December. I don't see October though.

Well it looks like the money I'm saving for a new computer is going to a new phone instead.

I may have to actually root my DX and change the flavor if I am going to wait for the Prime to arrive on Verizon. Seriously, the Bionic, SGSII, and now the Nexus Prime all on Big Red. They have not released anything that can be considered a true top tier device in how long and now they are going to release these three monsters in a matter of a few month's span. I mean there have been some nice devices but not all really come up to the next big thing. This decision will be the end of me. Gotta try and hold out to see which one will suit me better. I know that I will be on the forum even more than I am now. Not sure how I can be here more than I already am though.
