Verizon Galaxy Nexus (Prime) Waiting Room

Probably best to save your money. I can only assume with the Super AMOLED Plus HD display and the LTE chip, full contract price will cost no less than $600

Sent from my ADR6400L

Wow. $600 seems pretty high. Since the Tablet Market is $499 - $799 and the High End smartphone market is $199 to $299 I'm guessing that this phone will be $299 or $399...All just speculation.

He was being sarcastic, but I could see both the iPhone and Nexus being 350 on contract...

For my wallet's sake, lets hope not. 300 is pushing it already

So close to returning my Bionic...but I'm just not sure. I really wish more definitive specs would come out to help me make my decision.

4.65" screen - is that for sure? Is it AMOLED HD? Battery size is also a concern for me, as well as LTE. I've heard rumors it might just be a 3G device.

Sorry if I caused a misunderstanding... what I meant to say was that we can make logical guesses for these things based on up and coming tech. For example, I would say as long as its made by Samsung (and who doubts that as this point), there is almost no way that they're not gonna put their Super AMOLED HD screen in there. As for the processor, the only thing I could think of being in there besides a 1.5 GHz TI OMAP processor would be the Krait, but I can't see that happening if Google wants this phone released by the end of the year.

Of course. I understand, just trying to keep people from thinking anything is definite.

How cool would that Krait be, though?

Geekpocalypse.

There is no way this is a 3G device if its going to Verizon. Now I don't have the quote in front of me but I'm pretty sure Verizon passed on the GSII specifically because it did not have 4G. There is no way that they would skip out on that for lacking 3G to get a phone 2.5 months later that is 3G.

The rest of the specs are speculation other than it will have some sort of amoled display.

It might not have 4G. We simply don't know.

Also, Sprint got Samsung to add WiMax compatibility to their GSII variant, so your theory is dead :P

And no; EVERYTHING is speculation.
