Where actually on VZW's site mentions the store availability date of the Note 8?
I can't find it anywhere and chatted with a CS online who said date is unknown which was BS.
It's supposed to be Sept 14, but where does it actually say that?
I still have not received my return packaging for my Note 5. I received my Note 8 on the 5th and today is the 11th. I have already got the credit on my bill $20.00 off my bill and it also says $480.00 applied. What gives?
In the past, I received the emails after they got the trade in phones. It does take a couple to three billing cycles for the credits to appear on your bill. If it takes 3 cycles to appear on your bill you will have 4 credits on your forth bill, three credits for the cycles there were no credits and one for the new bill. In the end you will get all 24 credits, just plan on paying extra $20 a month until the credits are approved. It's usually done by the second bill cycle.This from Verizon? I ordered yesterday, already received ship confirm and tracking, delivery on Wednesday. I asked about promo codes, box to return Note 5 and credit... Verizon told me it could take one or two billing cycles. I thought that was really... strange!
Was I supposed to have received email confirm regarding the $480.00 promo offer? Frankly, the VZ rep and supervisor left a lot to be desired as their promo knowledge was VERY. weak.

I tried to pre-order keeping my 7GB plan and trading in my Note5 but it doesn't show a trade-in on the trade-in field in the shopping cart. I tried again using the mobile app and it has a check box that says "I am trading in a device and I have an unlimited data plan or I am switching to one."
Where the mother loving hell did THAT come from? I've seen nothing in the small print until then indicating unlimited (or the new Verizon plan) was a requirement. I'll keep my Note 5 until it dies as I have no need to pay $50 more a month for data I won't use.
I just tried on my desktop again and selected change my plan and the screen said "to continue with this purchase, you'll need to select a new plan".
Disappointing to say the least.
Did you order your Note 8 online through Verizon or from a Verizon store? I ordered my Note 8 from my local Verizon store, but the Note 8 was delivered to my home. Upon delivery of my Note 8 to my home, I turned in my S7E at the Verizon store and received a receipt from the Verizon store employee indicating I had the 50% promo. It was that simple. No waiting for boxes to return my old phone.
I had to wait a little bit before ordering. I am getting it Wednesday! never had a note but going from the s7e!
The only quirk I have is a few times my phone called people I recently texted. I've had that occur with several Samsung phones. I haven't set anything up to do that so not sure why it happens.
