Fed Ex texted me at 8 am this morning, at which time, holiday and all, I was asleep and though I am excited to get the phone, I was not excited by that text at that hour when I had priority notices only on my old Lg g3, which has apparently decided to ignore that.

Set up your 'Do not Disturb' function.... that way NOTHING can wake you up.....

I seem to have posted my response in the middle of your post somehow. No idea how. I quoted what you said and something went wrong. Sorry. Just trying to say that I don't think Verizon is letting anyone get the discount if your current phone isn't paid off. But i think it's worth it (my food budget isn't so sure but hey who needs food if you have a Note?)

FedEx just called to let me know that phone is being delivered tomorrow and if I can't be there to sign I can leave a note with a signature and instructions for the driver. I work from tomorrow so I'll be able to sign but I'm leaving a signed note on the off chance I'm outside in the orchard (it's harvest time for our almonds) and I don't hear/see the FedEx guy.

Mine left Newark, NJ on Saturday at 10:30, hasn't been anywhere since. Anyone else have a similar thing going on? They did text me this afternoon to tell me to expect the package tho. Hoping the truck didn't get hijacked or something lol!

Mine is still sitting 70 miles away in Seattle. if it is going to be delivered tomorrow it better get moving to a local FedEx office. both FedEx and UPS tend to deliver one day late from what they say in my area. I fully expect to get a notice of a change in delivery date to Wed, even though it has been in Seattle since Sunday.

Mine spent a day and a half in Memphis, left yesterday afternoon and hasn't been heard from since. I'm in Rhode Island so it's got a decent way to go. Did get the email from FedEx that it is coming tomorrow, so holding out hope for that

In some review of the Note 8 (??TechnoBufalo??), It was said that even the NEW 2017 Grar VR the Note 8 won't work in it?

Anyone know anything about this? I don't see why not, the port on the VR swaps like it did for the 2016 Version doesn't it? Supposedly, yes the S8 & S8+ can, but not the Note 8?????

Should work unless it is too big for the VR. As long as it fits it should work

The actual delivery vehicles don't normally hit the road until around 9am. There's plenty of time for it to get trucked 70 miles overnight to local distro center. Fingers crossed for you VZW peeps. The rest of us want details and a lot of pictures tomorrow!!

Definitely yes on the pictures! I'm living though all of you. It's one of the only ways to check this phone out.
