I plan to take my new Note8 along when I go surf fishing on LBI and Island Beach State Park later this week. Ever go to The Borgata in Atlantic City?

No, haven't been to the AC casinos in forever (prob late 90's). I stick mostly to the beaches now.

I never got my N7 wet, was way too paranoid. Maybe I'll be more daring w/the N8. Have a great trip!

Dumb question, how do you request a 30 min notice?

On your shipping there is a request for notification, not sur if will work, UPS allows you to request that.

Thank you. Last year I fearlessly took my Note7 on the beach in September and October. The sharpest videos in my collection, exceeding the quality of my HD camcorder-recorded videos, were taken with the Note7. I know the '8' will be great.

The Borgata remains a favorite. My fiancée and I 'discovered' it for ourselves right after it opened in August of '03.

I'll get down there with my Note8 and take some photos/videos and compare those with what my S7 Edge did last year. The Borgata is colorful and opulent if nothing else.

Where are you exactly? Well, at least you will have it before anything happens so you won't have to wonder afterwards, just staying safe is more important. I have a winter condo in Estero, just north of Bonita Springs but I am not on the water and I'm on 2nd floor so I am hoping it makes it through if this thing hits Florida.

YES!!!!!! My Note 8s are in Cheyenne!!!! I know the asst manager there. She is going to try and intercept them for me so I can pick them up in 28 minutes!!!!

Update on my Note 8. I pre-ordered the Note 8 on Saturday, Sep 2 from my local Verizon store and took advantage of the 50% off promotion. My Note 8 is being shipped via UPS and is currently sitting in Memphis, TN. Expected delivery is Thursday, Sep 7. I cant wait!
