Verizon sure was early last year when it came to shipping out the note8. Lol. Doubt that will happen this time around tho.

I don't see how Apple is going to be able to compete with this at all. Really I don't I mean usually when the Note is announced its like "yeahhh its cool but Apple presentation is next month...." Not this year, nah, Samsung just hit it out of the park.

I get it I know the Apple folks will eat it up next month but that company is just looking crappier and crappier as the years go by.

I'll do it if I can do it without a big outlay of extra cash--I'm spoiled by having my VZ bill be under $70 a month (including Note 8 device payment) thanks to the sweet deal they gave me last year after the whole Note 7 thing.

How do I go about this? May need to email the super-customer-service rep I dealt with last year and see what's up.

Girlfriend also desperately needs a new phone. She's on a different carrier. May look into what kind of deals I can get if I open a line for her.

So actually yes you could. Since the pre-orders start tomorrow you'd be able to place a Pre-Order as a worry free guarantee exchange.

I wouldn't trust them. I'd return the device and order the Note 9 separately.

I did the pre-order thing with the S7 edge and received it the day before release day. But unfortunately, the Note9 will be released on the 24th and I'm working in the middle of nowhere on that day. There's no way I'll be able to get it shipped here early. The nearest VZW store is 2 hours away. I'll take off work that day and drive to the VZW store and arrive at 10 am, the moment it opens. I'll grab the 512GB version then. If they don't have any (they will!), I'll drive a block over to Best Buy and grab one there. I figure between the two brick-and-mortar stores, there ought to be one available.

That's what time I thought they did note8 preorders last year too but on Verizon website their countdown is saying 6 hours til preorder. Unless they screwed up or I'm confused then that is 3am for me. I don't know why they would wait that late tho. I'm still going to look around midnight tho

So,

My line is currently eligible as I am using a Google Pixel 2XL that I bought outright. That being the case, how does the VZW pre-order work if I want to do the monthly payment option?

Do I get charged anything right now? Or does it just make it so that one is mailed to the store for me, or whatever?

Also, could I trade my pixel 2XL in at VZW when I pickup my note 9 to help offset the payments?
