I just got home from a verizon store and an att store, and you are wrong sir. Verizon samsung GS3 IS NOT LOCKED, but if u put att Sim card in Verizon GS3, it will not work. If u can tell me how you can make it work with att I'd be very thankful tho. A phone being unlocked or not locked in the first place does not mean it's capable of working on a different network. I have accounts with both phone companies.

Just because you cannot properly insert a SIM and configure APN settings for AT&T into your VZW SCH-I535 (Galaxy S3) and access AT&T networks does not mean that we who CAN are wrong.
I am running my verizon S3 on AT&T this very moment.

From what I see, he says it's not locked so not sure why you are saying he stated it was. I have a Verizon Galaxy S3 myself. On Verizon's website it says they don't lock their smartphones so any SIM card should work in them. I put in my T Mobile SIM and get fine cell signal. I put in the right APN settings for data but still get nothing over edge (E). I am guessing it's something within these phones locking them down to this speed. I put my T Mobile SIM into my wife's S5 and it gets LTE speed. I am guessing there is a way to hack these phones to allow 4g/LTE but that's up to whether you want to try and possibly brick your phone if you're not that great at this stuff.

I can put my at&t sim into my Verizon SG3 4G LTE and it says it can't read the sim. I have shattered the screen on my at&t phone and the sg3 is the only one I have on hand without spending money. Can someone please help me with this?!
