Verizon gets marshmallow tomorrow... (Update: It is out now!)

Just updated mine in Florida. Running well so far. Only hiccup was needing to update Play Services and taking four tries to do so.

I will agree the Fingerprint scanner is MUCH quicker now.

Check out articles on Adoptable (Internal) vs. Portable Storage for SD cards in Marshmallow - such as this one:
Inside Marshmallow: Adoptable storage | Android Central

More than likely - we will not have the Adoptable storage option. LG is not allowing it with the LG G5.

Or this one:

That's for when you get a new sdcard. The sd card we already have in are portable storage.

Just go the notice, going to clear the cache and remove the sd card, just in case before I hit install now.

After the update - I needed to "eject" my sd card and re-mount it before the phone would recognize it. I was getting a message that there was no card. (SanDIsk 200 gb Ultra).

UPDATE: on re-boot, I keep getting the message that "no storage area can be found." Says to check my settings... So far I haven't found an answer to this... Any ideas?

ANOTHER UPDATE: When I used the camera and acknowledged that I wanted to store photos on the SD card (response to a pop-up message), then the no storage area message went away.

One more update: It turns out that the message "no storage area found" is coming from the Spotify app. Working on a solution.

Only thing I've noticed so far is when you download a picture off the internet to use elsewhere, it shows up in the downloads folder in the gallery instantly.

I took notice, in my end, a small problem (not major). I sat my finger print up for the unlock and figured I'd give it another try. Well, I do wireless charge mine. Have Verizons 3 coil standing dock and the charging works better if you set the phone sideways on it. Anyhow, here I sit and watching the phone come on, go off, come on, go off.....then it clicked, it had to be the finger print scanner. If the little bit of heat is making that unlock, that's not good. So, I did undo the FPS and it hasn't done it since.
