Verizon has MAXXED me out..PLEASE HELP

Wow Jaime....I understand that you wanted fair treatment and I agree if you asked for a phone with battery life this phone was out and should have been offered to you. Just like it's your job to understand your customers wants and LISTEN to there needs, I hold Verizon in the same context. You definitely should have been offered this phone based on your wants and needs. It's very clear your sales person just sold you a phone based on maybe THEIR PREFRENCE and now your stuck! Frustration understood..... not everyone stays up to date or is as phone savvy as the folks on these forums! We rely on sales people to be knowledgeable because that's why they were hired. So yes I feel your pain, frustration and annoyance! Unlike SOME OF the rude and harsh comments found in this thread!
Oh and welcome it's not always this harsh in the forum. As you see some folks feel your pain!

Lie cheat steal.... Do whatever it takes to get a maxx.... Most amazingly awesome phone ever!

This wouldn't be happening at all if the OP had done the logical thing and did a bit of research first.

Not trying to be harsh rude or anything else, but people need to take some personal responsibility and accept the consequences of their actions.

I don't make any large purchase be it a phone, TV, lawnmower, etc without doing a little research first. it isn't hard to Google cell phones, battery life reviews etc and find out what you are getting.

Buyers remorse sucks but avoid it by knowing what you are paying for when you walk in the store.

Another thing to do is buy the phone somewhere other than a Verizon corporate store. BestBuy gives you 30 days to return. It's still 14 days on on your VZW contract, but at least you get to try the phone a bit longer. I'm a premier silver member, so BestBuy gives me 45 day returns on everything.

And to the OP: if you have a GNex that actually gets a good signal, keep it. You are one of the few.

I got the nexus for my upgrader but the battery was do damn bad I exchanged it for the Maxx but that was before the 14 day window.. Now I wish I kept the nexus.. Sure the battery is better than the nexus but the nexus is a much better phone.. So now I to have to suck it up.. I tried to get the nexus back but they wouldn't budge.. Rules are rules..

I wouldn't have an issue bring dishonest with Verizon. They give anyone with the audacity to ask them a question about update the run around and will flat out lie about knowing anything about updates. Lie your ass of and get the phone you want.

I subscribe to the thinking that, "If it is not right, it is wrong."

I went through 3 gn. All with bad radios. Would lose ALL voice/data. Tried to get the maxx, no dice. Was only offered the RAZR, which I took bc I needed a phone that actually functioned as a phone. Battery on the RAZR is awesome compared to the gn. I can only imagine what the maxx gets. The radio problem on the gn isn't software related. (To my own experience) I rooted, flashed newest radios and 4.0.4 and nothing fixed it. So I got a RAZR and some beats headphones free for my troubles.
