I still have Nexus one which is actually just fine even after almost two years. It still runs better than a lot of newer phones. Only thing that kinda bothers me is that I have to watch out how much space I have left as apps are getting larger these days, so I decided to get on with the odd number version of Nexus. I was hoping that I would give myself a Christmas present with it, but I am not sure they will make it in time.
True, but all it takes is a month or two before phones are no longer top of the line any longer. If it is a Verizon exclusive and you have to wait 2-3 months for it to show up on another carrier, there will probably be a better phone to choose from at that point.
