I'm guessing it will be 199 with a 2 year. Verizon will charge at least as much as corporate Sprint and Att charge (199). I got mine at best buy for 99 so chances are after a few weeks best buy will drop the price on the Verizon version as well.

Actually the LG G2 (Due to be announced Aug 7) has some pretty awesome specs. Snapdragon 800 2.3 MHz 2-3 GB Ram 1080p 5" screen. I've never been particularly fond of previous LG phones but this just may be an exception. Check out the unlock animation. It's sick!

That does look like an awesome device. I hate the volume on the back but other than that it looks really cool.

Yep, this is the only phone competing with my need for the HTC One at this point. I'm at a tug of war here - if the One is released on Thursday do I get it and be happy? Or wait a week for the Aug. 7 reveal of the G2 and then another month or 6 for Verizon to get it? Big Red has already been named as a prospective partner but who knows how long it'll take to get it on shelves. There are pros and cons to each of these phones for me. :/

Hey guys good news so earlier today I called my local Apple store and asked to speak with spiderman, he then transfered me to G.I. Joe and actually confirmed that the One will be releasing on the 1st (Thursday), he said that's what he heard from Steve Jobs, so I'm guessing he wasn't lying.

Lol... In all honesty I'm genuinely excited for Thursday.

As like most of us, I have called my fair number of stores. The store I spotted the device at was Z Wireless :17 Greene Blvd Dayton, OH 45440 (937) 458-0442. On my way home from work last night I stopped at a Corp. Store, Initially the guy at the front door hand no idea what that phone even was (idoit

) the store manager then went to the back and confirmed with the people in the back there that the "unofficial date" was 8-1 and it was "looking good". That store was 6175 Glenway Ave Cincinnati, OH 45211 (513) 921-5300.

I read that article, and the screen shot they show of the date could be fake, like every other "official" document. That date is just days away from the new Droid line being available, so I'm not sure why they would risk sabotaging their own Droid sales.

I really do hope it comes tomorrow. I would be at Verizon first thing. I could see them delaying it because the Moto X announcement is the same day, but at the same time you have a point. Would be weird to move it closer to the impending Droid line.
