It actually doesn't look that bad in this shade of blue. I still would've preferred the red one, but I'll decide whenever I finally get to see it in person.

I agree that is crazy. At release I will not be paying 199$ on contract for a 6 month old phone they are going to have to give me something for it to compensate!

It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Their handling of the HTC One launch has been an utter failure in every sense of the word. They launch the phone months after everyone else and still can't even get their exclusive color at launch? Sounds exactly like a Verizon thing to do.
No interest in the Moto X, but I may consider the G2 at this point.

Phone arena is far from being reliable. I'm pretty sure I can send in an anonymous tip and they'd report it as news.
Although, it does make sense for VZW to launch it after the new Droids are out. Only time will tell at this point, and we can only hope for the 15th.

I agree, right now the G2 is the only other competing phone against the One on my list. I will NOT break down and get an S4 as much as I'm craving that new phone smell...I know I'll regret it when the One finally does come out. At this point for me it's a waiting game -- August Whenever for the One or if it keeps getting pushed back and then topped with a ridiculous 200$ price tag I'd consider waiting a little longer for the G2. This is just getting ridiculous.
However, I'm more inclined to keep believing the leaked picture of the HTC One Verizon Training Event Email over these rumors. I'm still hoping for a 15th date, and I really do love the blue color.

I am tempted to get the S4 too.
to be honest I bought it at launch and traded it shortly after. The lag really bummed me out. I am not sure if the update made a difference or not. Some say it lags others swear it doesn't. There's no way I'd pay $200 for the One now especially with Sam's club selling the Sprint version at $48. LG worries me somewhat, the last LG I had was a flip phone, that was before smartphones existed.

LG has come a long way from flip phones and made some great progress. My first flip phone (well, cell phone, ever) was also an LG and it did the job. My friend currently has an LG Spectrum 2 with *almost* identical dimension specs as the One (height, width, etc.) and it's a beast of a phone, except battery life sucks on hers. They've taken some great ideas of what people want in a smartphone and it makes me excited for the reveal tomorrow Also, those freakin Quick Window cases!! That's one thing that phone has over the One (and the S4) when I make my list of pros and cons.

I'm no fan at the moment of VZW but to be fair they have said sometime this summer. everything else is just BS and has nothing to do with them... ill wait because i have unlimited and want those front speakers. MOTO is garbage and not in to trying LG.... S4-not a chance-.

Agreed, they're just rumors and VZW purposely committed to a summer release so they could just delay. Also, I can confirm that the LG G2 has the same plastic feel as the S4. But some people don't mind.

I agree that the HTC One is the only phone I would be interested in getting for the rest of the year. The only problem I have is that I know the HTC One (2?) will come out next year around February - April. Each delay just seems to make the phone more and more obsolete. Although, I wonder if Verizon will even get the successor to the HTC One. I don't imagine the HTC One selling that well on Verizon as it has been out for months on every other carrier. I can't see Verizon picking up the successor if the HTC One fails them.
