I did mine last night. I left the house to go out just as it was finishing. So I haven't played with it much yet. Mine seems faster, can't tell yet on battery but seems to have died a little quicker. I'll give it a couple days then do a factory reset. I usually do after any update from any manufacturer. Just a cost of using android.

Try it in the USB 2 rather than 3 port. Mine didn't work in my USB 3, but worked right away on USB 2.

I updated last night using the assistant software. The process didn't took too long. But one thing I really don't like is that I cannot control the mobile data toggle on widgets. I have no idea why lollipop made it so that when you press on the toggle it takes you to the data settings instead of just toggling on and off. So instead of a one click toggle, it turned into 2-3 steps toggle. So for people who uses this a lot, you have been warned.

On a side note, Foxfi is still working.

I'm glad some are getting this to work. Don't get why it won't work for me...and others. I honestly wonder if it works the same way as OTA in that it pushes out to certain devices? Would it normally show up in the assistant even if there wasn't an update? My version is just blank when it finishes checking for devices

I have the 23A leaked update, A few questions is it worth Flashing to 23C and what is the difference?
Also Can I flash directly from 23A to 23C?

Have been trying with the VZW updater and it isn't working

thanks
Chris

Amazingly, Verizon still officially says there is no release of Lollipop for the G3. How can that be? Are the folks that updated have rooted devices or stock?

Mine is stock. I wouldn't install the update though. My hangouts, and Gmail no longer work when on WiFi, as far as incoming. Hangouts will barely ring when WiFi is turned off. Half the time when someone calls me, they will get voicemail. If my WiFi is on, they will always get my voicemail.

My stock downloaded update works perfectly. Did you do a factory reset after the installation process completed? That is probably the key to success, as many others have said. I did a factory reset immediately and have been smiling ever since. Performance is better and battery life better than on Kit-Kat.

I was on 23A and 23C leaks and had the same issue. WiFi would constantly disconnect and Gmail sync over wifi worked half the time. I'm now back on KK where I will stay until the bugs are worked out.

I hard reset the phone twice. Still no incoming texts or calls in hangouts if connected to WiFi.

You just showed me what was causing this. The WiFi is too unstable for the call to work. Mine is also constantly connecting, and disconnecting.
How did you go back? Root, and a user ROM?

Just got mine through the check updates on the phone itself. I did not have to use the download tool.
