No 4G or 3G on my Nexus in Birmingham, AL. My wife, 12 miles away, has 4G on her T-bolt. I switched to CDMA only and it now shows 3G, but wont get data.
No data connection in Philadelphia, dialed in the Customer Service and they have an automated message up as soon as you call saying something like "We are aware some customers are experiencing connection issues with their 4G device and are working on a solution."
Same in boston.i went off wifi at one pm and couldn't get on 3g or4g.i assumed it was the phone TrIed reboot, airplane mode etcnothing.sounds like it's not my unit but the whole system, right?
I'll tell yah --
I was excited to drop T-Mobile for better network coverage. However, in the 11 days since I've been on Verizon I've had more issues with service than my 4 years on T-Mobile.....
I wish I could defend Verizon here, but I honestly don't know what's going on. Locally I was told that LTE was down in my area b/c a fiber line was by construction workers. This was a couple of weeks ago, but you know, it all adds up.
Here's to hoping that 2012 is a better year for us on VZW.
