*phone will restart and you will connect to the normal 3g network

when you hear via twitter of here that the 4g and ehrpd 3g is back up do the same thing but select eHRPD in the rev. a settings and it will go back to normal

with rev a. 3g you will not be able to talk and use data at the same time and the speed will be back down to normal 3g speeds..

adding my 1X post too.... here in SoCal... I noticed a weird icon on my phone around 5:15am that I think was my backup assistant running. (it was a SD card within a sync circle?)

after that no more 4G.

I'm in Cincinnati and mine went out around 8 but my buddy is working down in northern ky and his is all good... This blows

Still 1X-ness here in the Big Apple. I know people are hoping for some kind of silver lining in this cloud but you'd think that Verizon would say so to mollify those of us who are left in the data lurch. I think it's just 4G network growing pains.

Thank God for the WiFi here in my office.

1x here in Tucson, AZ too. (A usual 3G area)
I think I'll wait most of the day, and if 3G is not back when I really need it, (as a
distraction from homework and AP studying) then I will do the ##778#
I hope this gets fixed....

The ##778# change didn't work for me either. My friend has a Droid and just lost 3G. Not sure what's going on.

So exactly what are hey going to do for me since they have rendered my phone UNUSABLE?

Not trying to sound like a smart ass, but how is it unusable?
If you don't change any settings, it will still work as a phone, send/receive text messages.

Browsing and email are slower, that's it.
