Does anyone know if they can do this on certain towers?
I ask because on my phone using the Speedtest.net site and the Speakeasy speed test I'm consistently getting 30-35 Mbps down and around 3-4 Mbps up while I'm here at the office however when I do mobile hotspot I'm only getting about 4-5 Mbps down, but I'm getting 5-6 Mbps up.
Now I know that the speed tests I'm doing on the phone are accurate because when I was at home and did the speed tests on the phone I was getting around 5-6 Mbps down and 3-4 Mbps up and then I used the mobile hotspot feature at home and I got the exact same speeds as when I did the speed tests on the phone.
I work in an area that has a TON of large office buildings with very large companies residing in them, so I don't know if there is anything in that fact that could lead to a possible discrepancy or not.
