Depends on how your phone works after the update. Some say do it no matter what. I've only had to do a reset once over the years, I don't do it unless I have issues after the update

I depends on how your phone is acting and you might want to give it a couple of days for everything to simmer down as well.

After the download, I did a factory reset and it made all the difference in the world. Phone is faster, smoother and the battery life is also better.

FYI, first download was quick but the second download is massive. Still downloading the second one...

I just got my update from Verizon! It is a 2-part update... The first update prepares your phone to receive the second update. The second update adds advanced calling 1.0 and Android 5.0 lollipop. Per the update instructions, it takes 16 minutes to install the second update.

It looks like they also added bloatware (cookie jam and Panda pop) to the install.
