I was first at my store home at 11 setting her up and here I am at 8:30 finally getting my gear s back where it should be...
What a long day.
No peeling on my screen protector but I got mine from Korea a month or so ago came in a pack of 3 matte finish. Got a UAG case are u using a case could that be why it's peeling?

There were no cases at Verizon tho, gonna have to scout out another Verizon for a case.

LTE stands for long-term-evolution. 4g was designed to carry both voice and data simultaneously. some later versions of 3g support it too. as long as you are in a 4g area u should be ok. more info here LTE (telecommunication) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Got mine at the corporate store today. Wouldn't waste your money on their screen protectors though. Even they couldn't get them to stay on the phone. Keep peeling up on the edge. Fortunately I had a Skinomi alway at home which sent on nice. Hopefully the streaks work their way out 
I just tried it. No data when on the phone unless you connect to wifi. It even has a popup that says as much. I wonder if rooting it would fix the problem.
I was at the corp store when it opened this morning, and first one in the door. Got my Edge! The reps all whooped and hollered that the first person in the door wanted an Edge. Funny, they would not tell me how many they had, even after I had mine...
I bought a screen protector from them, and yes, it is peeling off on the curved edge. I also bought the Incipio case because the UAG one I ordered from Amazon won't be delivered until after I leave tomorrow on a cruise. I also have some better, (i hope), screen protectors coming from Amazon.

I was told by the rep that it WILL do voice and data at the same time, if you have 'advanced voice' enabled on the account. It was no additional charge. There is also a setting for it under settings/advanced Calling.

I cannot believe people are excited to give up simultaneous voice and data. I absolutely cannot go a day without it
Re Screen Protector from VZW. I went back for a second attempt this evening and the agent named Christian did a very detailed job on trying to make sure that the film would indeed stick to the screen. It was the best attempt I have seen. Sure I could have tried it too, but would have ruined at least 2 before getting it right, and these guys do this screen jobs on daily basis.
Will see if the protector will now stay or not.
The Edge, is not just another normal Android device, it's really a different OS experience. Very cool in the way that the important apps all line up on the right side.

Thrilled to read this and thanks for confirming. A rep at the store also said this when I called them earlier about it. I'm trying to go forward not backwards...
Mine was disabled by default. Had some caller ID thing that had to be turned off. Seemed like I had to choose between one or the other. Of course, I chose data while talking on the phone.
second update after a night playing with it... love the night clock, wish I could have it enabled all the time.
Folders in the edge panel are a little frustrating because the pop up goes to the middle of the screen, takes away the convenience of the quick side panel. So, I'll be removing "folders" from the edge and balancing which apps are in edge panel and which are on the main screen... any folders I'll put on the main screen. Unfortunately I can't just drag them there I have to recreate them so I'd like drag and drop to be enabled on the edge panels...
Still loving the phone though! Still getting used to how to hold it and a few quirks, like the bottom buttons kept lighting up when I changed my page reading on it last night with kindle app. Since I have it blacked out (white text on black screen at lowest brightness, so as not to annoy sleeping wife while I'm reading in bed at night) it was pretty bright when it kept popping up. However it's not like I don't know where those buttons are and what they do, even in the dark so I just turned off the lighting function.

The Edge brings a new OS experience as I said before and I am not using any folders in the Edge panel, they just don't look good and aren't as necessary. It's nice to see the actual apps line up.
So I just retired my Note 2 and will decide to sell it to VZW or privately. It's in like-new condition and runs like new too. Frankly using both Note 2 and Note Edge side by side I could tell only a tiny performance increase on the Edge. BTW, I do miss the wave gesture that's on the Note 2 that brings the phone to life without touching it. It is a very cool feature.
On the Edge, of course you can rub the edge panel and it will show time and date and weather (if you leave your location on at all times). But it's not as cool as the wave.
We definitely need more cool options for the Edge panel.
