So, does the nano NFC work just fine with the iPhone?

Or does it still mess up?

I'm wondering if the phone is going to arrive from Samsung with a new SIM card in it.

Idk how I would activate it at that point. I guess call them.

Usually unlocked phones do not come with a sim unless purchased directly from a carrier.

But it would work just fine.

I'm getting the Galaxy S8+ and coming from an iPhone 6S Plus. Will I have to swap SIM cards or can I just activate the S8+ and be good to go?

They really should come out with different names, there are two types of unlocked and they are both different. Sometimes people get them mixed up.

data and call wise you should be ok. but joe was explaining something about visual voicemail. but i do it all the time switching iphone sim to android and never have a problem

Well that's good. Should be able to sell my iPhone easily then if I decide to.

Just to back up the two posts above mine -- Verizon LTE phones are factory unlocked already (unlike other carriers).

Well, I mean I ordered it from Samsung and it's a Verizon retail phone so maybe it already has a Verizon sim in it.

Yes it should. Only tweek would be apn for data.

My phone says processing, same thing since I ordered it. I haven't received anything from Verizon in regards to a trade in box. Either way, we are one week out! Also, has anyone received anything directly from Samsung like a speaker box? Seen a few articles about this. With that said, I am hoping to be holding the s 8 in LESS than 1 week!
