I just got my second tracking number and it says deliver by 4/17. It doesn't have the delayed delivery messages that I have on my first one. I'm not getting my hopes up though.

Nobody will receive anything from Verizon until Thursday or Friday. Verizon has a future delivery date set with FedEx.

They did this before.

I ordered 2 phones. I received one tracking number that says delivery 4/20 and the second says Monday. Funny thing is the one that says monday is the one I ordered last night.

Verizon CS is all about scripts and you should never really trust them when it comes to launch info. I'm not Saying you shouldn't trust them about account info and such, but if you ask about when you will be receive the S8 legally they have to say the 21st.

Put it in this way, if they start telling people you may get it on the 19th and then you don't, that causes bigger problems, because they're people who will call back and say how they were mislead.

OK I know what that second tracking number is. It's my aunt's replacemnt phone that was ordered today. Plus my s8+ still says processing anyway.

I haven't received any update on my S8. No charge yet, no difference in VZ.

Question 1. Yes I have my shipping info, I'm on a device payment plan. I order on 4/1 my card was charge last night around 10pm, my s8 plus was shipped on today and received my email today as well. Question 2. My pixel XL was on a payment plan also I had to pay remaining balance on the pixel before I order my s8 plus. Someone early said you can't have 2 devices on a payment plan for a single line.

Answer to question 2 seems to be correct. I called and ask if I needed to pay off my current device payment plan and the rep told me that the S8 Plus would not be shipped until my current device is paid off. So I just went in and paid mine so hopefully my order will start to move beyond "processing" soon..

I'm also in the camp that says order shipped on 4/17 with a 4/19 delivery. Coming from TN to me in OH.

LOL... sorry, I know there are some people that work for Verizon reading/responding on this forum, but....

Sometimes not all Verizon Reps know what they are talking about, and some just say what everybody else says without reading what they should say to people.... or they say exactly what they have to in order to keep their job (what is on their script).

You might want to read a few of the last 5-10 pages on this thread. Most of us that ordered on the first day (3/30) had their Credit Cards charged last night, and this morning most of us received emails from Verizon with tracking numbers. They all say the same message in Red at the bottom.

Lord have mercy..even a Verizon rep, namely Joe since people are afraid to mention names, can and will make mistakes one in a while and why people feel the need to bash them or feel the need or want to correct them, is beyond me. It's not a competitive but informative forum and if some of you don't like it, please kindly refrain from throwing shades please!!!
