Verizon S8 / S8+ Pre-Order Discussion

Lord have mercy..even a Verizon rep, namely Joe since people are afraid to mention names, can and will make mistakes one in a while and why people feel the need to bash them or feel the need or want to correct them, is beyond me. It's not a competitive but informative forum and if some of you don't like it, please kindly refrain from throwing shades please!!!

If this comment was meant for me... I'm sorry you thought any of my comments where meant to be bad about anyone responding to comments on this thread or forum... they were NOT intended to be at him... just some Reps that are currently giving out bad information. That is what I'm responding to.

I am super bummed. I placed my order early morning on the 3/30 and I still have not been charged. My Note 4 is starting to get into reboot loops and needs to have a battery pull every other hour so I am desperate for a new phone.

Highly appreciated BUT most of his information, like 90 per cent, are accurate and if and when he makes errors, he admits it and comes back with further correct info or accept new available information to him. It's the reps on the phone that provide false information, not him. But thanks for the help!
 
Verizon CS is all about scripts and you should never really trust them when it comes to launch info. I'm not Saying you shouldn't trust them about account info and such, but if you ask about when you will be receive the S8 legally they have to say the 21st.

Put it in this way, if they start telling people you may get it on the 19th and then you don't, that causes bigger problems, because they're people who will call back and say how they were mislead.

I hope you're right because it would help immensely if it was the 20th...
 
Chatting with a CS rep now and they say that my phone will not be shipping until the 21st. Say what?
 
My co-worker who ordered through verizon got her tracking number and will be delivered Tuesday.
I have Verizon as well but went through best buy so I'm screwed until Friday.

yep never order through bb or any of the 3rd party retailers

Should I be worried about this? I have the S8 Plus on preorder which is this:


Then, under my orders, it shows another order for a SIM card. When I click on that order it shows this:

It's nothing to be concerned about. The SIM is technically a separate item and it's free. All Verizon SIMs are free. Mine says the same thing.
 
I pre-ordered 4/3. Congrats to all those that have new shipping notifications. I have nada, but I know I'll be happy one day next week!
 
Re: Verizon Pre-Order Question S8+

Question - I ordered my wife the S8 today, and myself the S8+. I received an email confirmation for my wifes phone and can see the order thru our Verizon account, but I haven't seen any email confirmation with my S8+ nor can I see any order status thru our account.

Is anyone else getting this problem?
 
My brother just got his credit card charged and got email too. Pre ordered on 7th April

I ordered through Verizon on April 7th and nothing yet as far as shipping notification or having my CC billed ...

Three Spigen cases arrived today and the anker car charger so I am all ready!
