Keep hearing everyone talk about him. What's the scoop? What's he do know?

He works for Verizon. His information is pretty accurate and he said in the Official Pre-order thread to not expect the phones any earlier than the week of the 17th.

Was trying to change my payment method and supervisor said I would have to update it by the 17th, so sounds like you can start to expect your cards to be charged stating next Monday.

For me excellent deal. I have time to call and update payment info and get phone by the 21st. Makes me mad they can't change it now, but can after the payment is denied.

The bank said it will be denied, they can see the pre authorization but since the card has been hot listed as lost/stolen they can't change it. So now I get to wait for payment denied email, never thought I would be looking forward to getting one of those. LOL

My account also shows 4 phones instead of 2 and in the app it says I have no orders... has to be a glitch if there's other people with that same issue.

I'm not even excited for my s8+ anymore... after suffering with this G6 for the past few weeks I had to buy another Mi Mix... I'll probably try the s8+ out for a few days and then sell it...not being able to root it after getting used to a Mi Mix running lineage is going to be brutal just like it is on this G6.

Thanks, I was hoping it was not just my account. I really was not looking forward to the headache of returning two phones and having to make people honor their promises to not charge me a restocking fee.

Wait until you receive it and just exchange it at a corporate store on the 21st. This way you can still get the pre order goodies X2.

I have Verizon, so the only preorder goodie is the Gear VR, which I won't use. I would much rather have a watch!

You can always sell the VR and put the $$ towards a watch.

idk if you've held the s8 but it is so small the plus feels more natural for me and feels like the right size. i think you will love the plus

Well, I just checked mine, and it looks like I am getting 4 phones and only ordered 2.

Mine showed something similar; my wife and kids' iPhone7 were all showing on my account as "Processing" even though they've had the phones for months.

I used Chat with VZW and they confirmed only my GS8 is a pending order.

The Gear VR and Oculus content is redeemed thru Samsung not Verizon. I checked. Also, there are only 350,000 Gear VR "gift bundles" as Samsung calls them, and 50,000 $99 "gift boxes" available.

Gift Bundle = Gear VR and Oculus Content
Gift Box = Gear VR and Oculus Content, AKG over ear BT headphones, and Samsung 256GB microSD card.
