I'm in the 'stuck in Linwood' club today, too (at their 1500 Blueball Ave FedEx center)

I would be less bummed if I hadn't made sure to stay awake and place my order the very minute it was available on Verizon's site.

Sounds like the idea of 'first come, first served' is just a relic of a bygone era when customers mattered..

I'm in the same boat, ordered right away and am stuck in Linwood. Now I am only hoping it makes it from PA to backwoods Wisconsin by tomorrow? I don't remember seeing any other delivery option but 2 free day shipping, very disappointed.

Why would you pay for overnight shipping. When I ordered all the shipping options showed the 19th as the delivery date.

Finally! That's the reason I didn't go with overnight. It had the same f-ing delivery date. Lol. That's not to dismiss the ones who did though. I just think that's a foul move on VZW, but they are known for that.

Should be getting mine today. Mine is via our corporate account so it includes free overnight shipping...

FedEx usually doesn't show up here until after lunch though....

well my phone is at the last fedex sort facility before out for delivery, so there is a small chance it could come today, but not holding my breath. if it comes today it will be a pleasant surprise, if not, I will get it tomorrow.

Probably to dupe for more money, since perhaps half the people that got next day might not ask for refund. Easy money for the carriers, since part of the shipping fee goes to the carrier.

They should not offer expedited delivery until the day before the device releases.

Mine is still on the other side of the mountains, four hours away. Went and had multiple scans done to it since it's been there. I wonder what the heck they're doing to it.
