Vertical Purple Line on Screen

I have T-Mobile S7 Edge since March 1st without any problems whatsoever...However, while at work tonight, I had a Vertical Purple Line appear on my screen out of nowhere. I have a UAG case on my phone and haven't dropped it or anything. I was pissed off, to be honest. After about 4 hours when I got off work, I got in my car and turned on the phone, it was gone. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have had this same problem it goes away and comes back then repeats... what did u do to fix this issue??... we r both still on warranty.. so should we just call samsung and have them fix it or what?

Have you tried this, it was in another thread similar to this one

Go to phone and dial *#0*# it opens a test interface. Click between red green and blue until the line goes away.

I have replaced THREE SCREENS (2 for free frou U Break It I Fix it) before they advused it was caused by defective adhesives. They now have edge screens with improved adhesives. Fourth & hopefully last replacement this week. Push down at top of line and it goes away.

I've had this issue on 2 No. S7 Edge, both identical issues with a vertical pink line down the screen. Both phones had never been dropped and the line appears/disappears in the same place, as you press on the G of Samsung at the top of the device. About to send back for a 3rd phone from Samsung under warranty, each time it was about 3 to 4 months after receiving the device. Asked Samsung UK if this was a known common fault, the service representative claimed it wasn't I must just be unlucky......

It's a known issue. I am on AT&T and returned my 7 month old phone to their service center to exchange for refurbished one. Tech told me that this is definitely a know issue and that they have had lots of returns.

So, after about 3-4 months of tolerating this PINK line down the right side of my screen I finally tried to get AT&T to do something about it under my 12 month warranty. I didn't realize that AT&T got rid of their Repair Centers...at least in my area, so the company-owned store told me to call AT&T Warranty service. Additionally, they told me to do a factory reset to see if it would fix it. So I did that this morning...the factory reset didn't cure anything. So I called and they are shipping me another phone, a refurb, I presume, with a 90 day warranty...they did recognize that it is a Known Issue without a resolution...but on occasion, they said, a factory reset does fix it.

I have the S6 Edge that is doing the same thing. I am out of warranty though. Has anyone had Samsung do the repair out of warranty? Was there an additional cost?

I have the purple/pink line that comes and goes depending upon pressure around the G of Samsung. I do not have any magnetic case whatsoever.

I have a temporary fix by dialing *#0*#, and then tapping RED. The entire screen goes red and I leave it there for 4 or 5 minutes. After I exit this screen the purple line has disappeared from my screen, but it unfortunately reappears from anywhere from an hour to a few days. I have then repeated this procedure a few times.

WAHHH THIS ACTUALLY WORK@_@
I use put to red for 10 seconds, feeling sceptical, then put to black, saw the faint purple line, but upon exit, the purple line is gone #WhatSoceryIsThis

Shall wait and see when it will come back as you have mentioned.

Unfortunately, it did come back for me. Maybe you'll have better results!!

Aahh my cousins g5 glitched out and its like he drew on his screen with purple marker or something how do you fix
