Think I will buy the Nexus 6. I had the opportunity to handle it, and it's not so much impossible to manage.
I would like to know if you recommend it or if you have something to complain about.
Thank you for your comments and advices.

Go for it.
It's the best device I have ever had.
Is it perfect? No.
There is no perfect device but, for me, it's pretty darn close.
Be the first on your block.
Be the envy of your friends.
Get yourself a Nexus 6.

Mav.

Sent from my Sprint Tri-Band Nexus 6.

The only downsides are the camera (use HDR mode) and the pink tinting of the screen at low brightness. Other than that, it's a great device.

The camera is a recently developed Sony 13 Megapixel CMOS back-lit sensor with a 6 element Zeiss lens and in capable hands is excellent with superb dynamic range. My N6 has no pink tint at low brightness.

Well ok but more than half of the people with a N6 complain about the camera and yes every N6 on the planet has pink tint a low brightness. At least every one I've seen, including mine. Do you have a N6?

Camera seems alright, at least low light photos beat the **** out of s5s camera. But I am still exploring it.

Hey raqball - I got rid of the pink hue on my Nexus 6 by turning the adaptive brightness off.

What would annoy you about a phone?

I love my Nexus 6. I know folks have complained about the Nexus camera app and the photos it takes, but coming from the HTC One M8.....maaaaaaaan....looooove th Nexus 6 camera.

If you read my response you would know I have the Nexus 6. There always have been camera complaints simply because photography is an art form and requires actual skill. I know what my camera can do and I've posted many of my images in the photo section. If you were to look at them, you would see that they are well exposed, sharp, and have superb dynamic range. If you are having trouble making quality images, it isn't the camera's fault.

And if my Nexus 6 would have had a pink cast, I would have exchanged it for one that doesn't. If you live in the Atlanta area, I would be happy to show you a Nexus 6 with no pink cast.

To each his own. I use "Twilight" app to add red to the screen at night. It softens the blue light that is supposed to be disruptive to the sleep cycle. Whether it does this or not, I find the warm tint to be much easier on my eyes.

Yeah. Compare the N6 to A Note 4 side by side and the pink hue is very noticeable.

It could be all pink and I wouldn't have the Note 4 over my N6 though. But still he's right, there is a pink hue.

OK. If I compare my N6 screen to a sheet of white photo paper, yes, my N6 is definitely a very warm white. I wouldn't call mine pink though. Photos however are made with the Sony CMOS sensor and when looked at on my color accurate Microsoft Surface Pro 3 using Photoshop CC, photo colors are quite accurate. That's what is really important for me, not what's on a saturated AMOLED screen.

I will say that when I compared my N6 screen with the Note 4 screen at BestBuy, the screens appeared identical to my eyes.

I was thinking to wait for the new HTC One, but if you are disappointed with it...may I ask you why?

What does this app do? Can you please explain me how does it work? Can you choose between colors?

I was very close to ordering one about a month ago but I'm holding off because of the problem with the back cover coming unstuck. There's a thread about this (in the N6 forum) but I still haven't heard if Moto has fixed the problem. I also don't know what percentage of new N6s are affected -- but I'm pretty sure it's a fairly low number.

It changes the tint of the screen based on your sunrise-sunset times. You can set the color to your preference, but only in the sense of how red the display shifts. There are sliders in settings for "temperature", with lower being redder and higher being bluer, and for the intensity of the temperature that you've set.

Here's the screen with twilight off:

Here's the settings that I use. When it's active, it appears a little redder in real life:

Here's the warmest temperature, with intensity set at 50% :

And here's the coldest temperature, also at 50%:

This. I would definitely be worried. I saw the comments in that thread along with the pictures and it seems like a problem. Some of the posters exchanged theirs several times only to receive new ones with the same issue.
