Viber's settings are located in More tab --> Settings

However, Viber does not yet offer an option to disable its vibration. Currently, Viber utilizes your phone's main settings for volume and vibration, so if you want to change anything in Viber, you should change the settings of your phone itself. In the future, we plan to add settings that are specific only to Viber, and when we have about this we will publish it officially.

First, please make sure that both Viber users have the latest version of Viber installed.
Now, make sure that the person who sent you the message sent a Viber smiley/emoticon, and not a custom emoticon from a third-party application.

Hello. I live in Pakistan. Everyone uses viber here and I'm a long time viber user. I'm using Samsung galaxy s3 android phone. I, yesterday accidentally deleted my viber and then reinstalled it. Sent myself the activation code but i recieved an invalid code. I recieved the call but even that code didn't work. I reinstalled viber but still received that same code that viber claims it to be an invalid code. Now i don't recieve any text or call by viber. Is there any way or time that viber renews it's activation code? I need to use viber urgently as i recieve important calls through it. It'll be great if you help. Thank you.

I have problem on my SGS3 with original ROM 4.1.2
it causes to crash and restart my phone specially when i want to upload pictures with viber.
somebody please help me, uninstalled and reinstalled Viber many times, but problem still exist.

Hi,

Unfortunately, it will not be possible to retrieve those lost messages, since we (Viber) do not keep our users' message history on our servers - we care about our users' privacy.
We recommend to use our ?Export message history? function every once in a while, in order to make sure that those messages are backed up.

Surely there must be a solution to obtaining the 4-digit activation code for Viber: it almost feels like there is a refusal to allow the use of Viber on the Samsung S3. If that is the case it would be so much nicer if Viber came straight out with it and said 'you can't run Viber, forget it'

Have spent so much time getting nowhere with this problem: it's extremely tedious, I think I am on the point of giving up. I used to use Viber on my Apple iPhone where there was not a problem. Can anybody who knows please comment.

My Viber on my Samsung S3 is duplicating my contacts. And when I go to delete the duplicate it deletes the contact all together.
How do I stop it from duplicating the contacts. It seems to be copying my sim contacts and my google contacts that have Viber

If you haven't received a code yet, Please try to uninstall Viber, Wait 24 hours and reinstall back to your device.

This issue has to do with importing contacts from an external source such as syncing with iCloud, exchange, or Google account, etc. You may have the same contact listed more than once in different synced lists. Also, you may have contacts separated into different groups. For example, if you have a contact listed in a group called friends, and also in a group called work, since Viber does not yet recognize groups, you may get this contact listed twice in your Viber contacts. We are investing this in order to bring you a solution for the future.

For Android users it may be helpful to experiment with the "Show all contacts" setting. You may do this by selecting the 'More' tab, then 'Settings'.

I have a problem with Viber after the last update. New emoticons that came with this update are not possible for me to send them. I receive them regulary from other Viber users and I can see them, but when I try to send them to other users they receive blank msgs...With old emotions I dont have a problem, i can send them or receive them as usual... I reinstaled Viber several times but this problem is not solved...It is really bugging me :(

I hope you can help me. I have Samsung S3 and my problem isnt with viber itself put with the viber folder on my phone. I have like 70 pict in it but everyday that folder gets filled with black pictures that look like they crashed. One friend of mine has the same problem but on Samsung Note. I'm deleting those pic on daily basis but they are showing again. Sametimes folder has over 300 pic includin mine.I didnt try reinstalling viber because I dont want to loose my pic and messages. :)

I deactivated viber 3.1.1.1.15 on Samsung galaxy GT- 5830i i had initially installed it before activated and tested
I have again installed it but has failed to activate by not sendiing the code via sms. even after requesting for a code via viber call failed
Please help me

Hello,
I have a samsung galaxy s 3 mini and the viber on it began to show me this message recently: "Viber service is currently unavailable or being blocked. Try again later", when I want to send a message or make a call. I've tried reinstalling in, but it still doesn't work. Now it won't even sync the contacts with the phone (displays the above mentioned message again). So, does anyone have a similar problem? Or perhaps a solution?

hi,
My viber app hangs up quite often and sometimes it has slow response. i have tried to uninstall and install it again many times and also cleared all cache but the problem persists.

Open Viber and click on More Options (click on the 3 dot icon next to search icon bottom right of the screen) then click on settings and uncheck "Free reply with Viber" option. Hope this helps!

I restored my phone the other day and it deleted viber, i re-installed viber but it wont let me use the number i used before saying its not valid? what do i do
