Voice Typing. Is This Happening to You?

In the past, when I talk my text or emails and say "comma" or "exclamation point", the symbol (, or !) would show. Now, 90% of the time, it spells out the word. This started on my S5.

Different V-to-T apps work differently. If you really use V-to-T a lot, try Dragon Naturally Speaking. It's about the best.

I do use it a lot. I rarely use my thumbs. I haven't had any trouble with this until recently. Not sure what changed.

What works for me is to say the punctuation immediately after the word I want it to follow. There's no pause or break in my voice.
